COVID-19 guidance

The UK Health Security Agency has published guidance on actions you can take to help reduce the spread of Covid-19 and other respiratory infections.

This guidance is also available in Arabic, Bengali, Chinese Simplified, Chinese Traditional, Farsi, French, Gujarati, Hindi, Pashto, Polish, Portuguese, Punjabi Gurmukhi, Punjabi Shahmukhi, Russian, Slovak, Somali, Tamil, Ukrainian and Urdu.

An Easy Read version is now available.

Actions you can take are:

  1. Get vaccinated.

  2. Let fresh air in if meeting others indoors.

  3. Practise good hygiene - further advice on this from Germ Defence:

    • wash your hands

    • cover your coughs and sneezes

    • clean your surroundings frequently

  4. Wear a face covering or a face mask - there is guidance for people with symptoms of a respiratory infection or a positive test result.
