Covid-19 testing and vaccines: what’s working for people facing homelessness?

Groundswell have published Covid-19 resources for people experiencing homelessness.

1) COVID-19 testing and vaccines: what's working for people facing homelessness? - a report on people’s experiences of accessing Covid-19 tests and vaccines.

Their research aims were:

  • To ensure people’s voices and experiences directly feed into the system; preventing serious illness and death from Covid-19.

  • To address data gaps on how people experiencing homelessness have accessed and experienced Covid-19 testing and vaccinations.

The report can also be accessed as a PDF.

2) They have also issued a brief survey on Long Covid for anyone working within the homelessness sector.

“We know that there are many reasons which may make it harder for people experiencing homelessness to identify symptoms of Long COVID and significant barriers to accessing the appropriate healthcare and support they need. The VCSE plays a key role in supporting people experiencing homelessness and this survey hopes to find out what the sector needs to ensure that we can support those experiencing Long COVID most effectively.”
